Service for Lois Irene Lamphier, 32, of 710 Ludlow street, was held Friday afternoon at St. Paul’s Methodist church with the Rev. Kenneth W. Burgess and the Rev. William Hill Colycott officiating. She died July 5 at St. Joseph’s Mercy Hospital, Pontiac. Arrangements were under the direction of the Pixley Funeral Home and burial took place in Mt. Avon Cemetery. Born in Rochester on November, 30, 1922, Miss Lamphier graduated from Rochester high school in 1940 and was employed at National Twist Drill. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist church, holding membership in the Altar Guild and St. Paul’s choir. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lamphier, and three brothers, Ward and Alan at home, and Howard who lives in Detroit
